Rights & Access
The Library of Congress will not possess legal rights to product with its collections. Consequently, it doesn’t license or charge authorization charges for usage of such material and cannot give or reject authorization to publish or elsewhere circulate the material.
Eventually, it’s the researcher’s responsibility to assess copyright or any other usage limitations and get authorization from 3rd parties when needed before publishing or materials that are otherwise distributing in the Library’s collections.
